Jungle Expedition 4D

Day 01

Leaving the city of Cusco early morning at one of our vehicles specially equipped for the route. We pass through picturesque valleys peasant communities visiting the Tombs Pre-Inca "Chullpas of Ninamarca." A half day will pass by Paucartambo typical colonial town of great importance at the time and still retains its colonial style. Continuing the journey ascend to the opening of Acjanacu to 3850 meters. From here we started descend through the cloud forest, an area rich in endemic species such as the Bear Eyeglasses, Cock of the Rock, orchids, bromeliads, ferns, etc.. Among others where we spend our first night comfortably installed in our platform outdoor "Saint Peter".

Day 02

Very soon we will see the interesting Dance Cortejo the Cock of the Rock, Peru's national bird, who has a striking plumage of red-orange very intense, comfortably installed in an observation deck called "LEK. After breakfast we continue in our bus through the high jungle, arriving at the town of Pilcopata * and then continue to the port of Atalaya (700 meters), situated on the riverside Upper Madre de Dios, where we hoped our boat with engine outside overboard, we will address the vessel which is loaded with the equipment necessary for the trip, thus beginning our descent to the river where we can see the huge variety of birds as existing King Vultures, etc. .. To reach our Private Reserve Erika where we spend the next two nights. Short walk appreciation for the surrounding area.

Day 03

Erika is located in Zone between Transitional High Jungle and Jungle Low (600 meters - 1550 meters), the different altitudes give rise to various habitats, explaining the high diversity of wildlife in the surrounding area. After breakfast, we will address our boat in which we navigate 5 minutes to cross the river High mother of God and walk for 30 minutes on a trail interesting to observe and keep on flora interesting as sensitive plants, heliconias, orchards etc.. Until the lagoon where Machuwasi install the telescope and see birds like heron, tucanetas, carpenter crestirojo, bienteveos, cardinal, etc.

Day 04
